Me making crèmes brûlées
I’m Jason Crawford, a tech/business geek who moved to San Francisco in late 2009 to become co-founder and CTO at Kima Labs.
For the last five years, I was in Seattle, most recently as Lead Engineer for Mobile Software at Pelago, the makers of Whrrl and the first investment out of Kleiner Perkins’ iFund. Prior to that I ran the Landing Page Optimization team at Amazon.
Before Seattle I spent three years in New York doing tech ventures in the D. E. Shaw group, including two years at D. E. Shaw Research working on Anton, a supercomputer for biomolecular modeling and simulation. I did computer science at Carnegie Mellon University (Class of 2001).
I am a rock climber, swing dancer, and Objectivist.
I have a full profile on LinkedIn. To keep up with me, subscribe to this blog in your feed reader or by email, and/or follow @jasoncrawford on Twitter.
